Videomagazín The Dice Tower, který připravuje Tom Vasel, vyhlašuje každoročně vlastní cenu Dice Tower Award. Nominuje nejlepší hry minulého roku v celkem třinácti kategoriích (například pro dva hráče, strategická hra, kooperativní hra, nejlepší rozšíření, hra nového autora). O nominacích hlasovaly desítky lidí, herní nadšenci i odborníci.
Mezi nominovanými hrami najdete například ty, které již vyšly v české lokalizaci: Alchymisté, Settlers: Zrod impéria, Splendor, Velbloudí dostihy, Colt Express. Další u nás v tomto roce vyjdou, například Dead of Winter, Star Realms, Spyfall, Castles of Mad King Ludwig. Jsou zde ale i výpravné hry jako The Battle of Five Armies či Star Wars: Imperial Assault.
